JENNIE’s newest solo project, Fallen Angel, came out on top in Billboard’s weekly new music poll, according to Billboard. Listeners voted in the poll, which was published Friday, Aug. 28.
By the time voting closed on Sunday, the BLACKPINK star’s EP had collected more than 82% of the vote. It finished ahead of new releases from Olivia Rodrigo, Ky-Mani Marley, Alex Warren, Alabama Shakes and others.
Fallen Angel is JENNIE’s first solo collection since her full-length debut Ruby last year. The project was released through ODDATELIER and Columbia Records, and includes the lead single “Less Than a Lover.”
The rollout continued on Friday with the title track “Fallen Angel” and a music video. JENNIE also released a digital EP that day featuring “Less Than a Lover,” “Fallen Angel” and a third song, “Heaven.”
A physical CD version is available for preorder and adds three exclusive tracks — “Sweettooth,” “Lockitdown” and “Face” — bringing the total to six songs. Billboard says CD orders are currently expected to ship on Oct. 30.
